Meet the experienced and friendly doctors who make Lifetime Eyecare the leading provider of vision care products and services in the Cumberland area.

Dr. Jeffrey A. Poland

Dr. Jeffrey Poland is a graduate of Bishop Walsh High School and Frostburg State University. He received his Doctor of Optometry degree from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry in Philadelphia, PA. He received the Citation for Clinical Excellence from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry as well as the Bausch and Lomb Award for Excellence in Contact Lens Practice. Dr. Jeff is a member of the American Optometric Association, past president of the Maryland Optometric Association and serves as president of the Western Maryland Optometric Society. His areas of special professional interest include Pediatric Eye Care and Ocular Disease diagnosis and management. Dr. Jeff resides in LaVale, Maryland with his wife Lisa and is the father of two adult children Matt (and wife Kayleigh) and Jenna (and husband James).

Dr. Brian K. Manspeaker

Dr. Brian Manspeaker is a native of Everett, PA, who practiced in Elkton, MD, for over thirty years after his graduation from Juniata College and the Pennsylvania College of Optometry. Dr. Manspeaker is a member of the American Optometric Association and the Maryland Optometric Association. He served on the MOA Executive Board for many years as association treasurer, and he was named Maryland Optometrist of the Year in 1998. He resides in Everett with wife Janet, and he is the father of two adult children, Rachel (and husband Peter) and David (and wife Tahle).  He is the very proud “Grandpap” of three granddaughters, Eowyn and twins Marigold & Penelope, and new grandson Nathan.

Dr. Katelin P. Zaluski

A native of the Pittsburgh area, Dr. Katelin Zaluski received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Kenyon College and her Doctor of Optometry degree from Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Salus University where she graduated with honors. She is an outstanding general optometrist with additional areas of interest in nutrition and eye disease. Dr. Zaluski is a member of the American Optometric Association and the Maryland Optometric Association.  She resides in Cumberland and enjoys spending time in the beautiful Western Maryland outdoors, gardening, hiking and exercising. Dr. Katelin is a passionate animal rights advocate, and she devotes many volunteer hours to the care of rescue animals and to promoting low cost spay/neuter and vaccination services.

Dr. James A. Poland, Emeritus

Dr. James Poland (retired June 2013) is a graduate of Beall High School and Frostburg State University. He received his Doctor of Optometry degree from the Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago, Illinois. He was the recipient of the Maryland Optometrist of the Year Award. Dr. Jim is a past-president of the Maryland Optometric Association. He served on the Maryland Board of Examiners in Optometry and is a past-president of that board. Dr. Jim resides in Frostburg with his wife Judy. They are the loving parents of three children, Jeff (and wife Lisa), Jay (and wife Cathy) and Joni (and husband Mark), and grandparents to six lucky grandchildren, Matt, Jenna, Ashley, Meghan, Samantha and David.  Dr. Jim will continue to mentor the doctors and staff of Lifetime Eyecare, and his passion and professionalism will always be our inspiration in everything we do.
