Dr. Jeffrey A. Poland
Dr. Jeffrey Poland is a graduate of Bishop Walsh High School and Frostburg State University. He received his Doctor of Optometry degree from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry in Philadelphia, PA. He received the Citation for Clinical Excellence from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry as well as the Bausch and Lomb Award for Excellence in Contact Lens Practice. Dr. Jeff is a member of the American Optometric Association, past president of the Maryland Optometric Association and serves as president of the Western Maryland Optometric Society. His areas of special professional interest include Pediatric Eye Care and Ocular Disease diagnosis and management. Dr. Jeff resides in LaVale, Maryland with his wife Lisa and is the father of two adult children Matt (and wife Kayleigh) and Jenna (and husband James).
Dr. Brian K. Manspeaker
Dr. Brian Manspeaker is a native of Everett, PA, who practiced in Elkton, MD, for over thirty years after his graduation from Juniata College and the Pennsylvania College of Optometry. Dr. Manspeaker is a member of the American Optometric Association and the Maryland Optometric Association. He served on the MOA Executive Board for many years as association treasurer, and he was named Maryland Optometrist of the Year in 1998. He resides in Everett with wife Janet, and he is the father of two adult children, Rachel (and husband Peter) and David (and wife Tahle). He is the very proud “Grandpap” of three granddaughters, Eowyn and twins Marigold & Penelope, and new grandson Nathan.
Dr. John A. Manard (Arriving January 2020!)
Dr. John Manard is a graduate of New Mexico State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics. He received his Doctor of Optometry degree from The College of Optometry at The Ohio State University. Dr. Manard underwent specialized training in management of ocular diseases and surgical co-management of cataract and LASIK patients. He was chosen as a recipient of the Ohio Optometric Association’s Student Loan Repayment Program Award in both 2017 and 2018. This award recognized Dr. Manard as a doctor of optometry who is committed to treating underserved populations and ensuring they have access to lifetime eye care.
Dr. Manard provides comprehensive eye examinations to patients of all ages, as well as treatment and management of ocular disease conditions such as glaucoma, dry eye syndrome, and diabetic eye changes. He is especially interested in contact lens fitting and assessment, including more complicated cases.
Dr. Manard is a member of the American Optometric Association and the Maryland Optometric Association. He is an avid sports fan, most specifically rooting for the OSU Buckeyes and the Kansas City Chiefs. He is married to a fellow optometrist Dr. Whitney Territo. He also loves to read, so don’t hesitate to give him good book recommendations!
Dr. Katelin P. Zaluski
A native of the Pittsburgh area, Dr. Katelin Zaluski received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Kenyon College and her Doctor of Optometry degree from Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Salus University where she graduated with honors. She is an outstanding general optometrist with additional areas of interest in nutrition and eye disease. Dr. Zaluski is a member of the American Optometric Association and the Maryland Optometric Association. She resides in Cumberland and enjoys spending time in the beautiful Western Maryland outdoors, gardening, hiking and exercising. Dr. Katelin is a passionate animal rights advocate, and she devotes many volunteer hours to the care of rescue animals and to promoting low cost spay/neuter and vaccination services.
